25 Days of Christmas – Day 12

It’s day 12 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2015.  I had a lot of fun with this card!  I loved using the glitter paste on the background and adding glitter to Santa.  I was ready to add my Merry Christmas sentiment when I realized I had just received the Inappropriate Christmas stamp set from Picket Fence Studios.  I had to use the Big Poppa on this card!  Here is the link to Kristina’s video and blog post.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 13!  Thanks for stopping by.

25 Days of Christmas – Day 11

It’s day 11 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2014.  This is one of my all time favorites from Kristina’s holiday card series!  I’m not sure why, but I adore her card.  I’m also very happy with how my version turned out.  Here is the link to Kristina’s video and blog post.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 12!  Thanks for stopping by.

25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day 10

It’s day 10 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2013.  I have a ton of embossing folders that I never use, so glad I brought them out for this card.  I’ve used them several times since making this card!  Here is the link to Kristina’s video and blog post.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 11!  Thanks for stopping by.

25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day 9

It’s day 9 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2010.  Love this layout!  I get to use my pattern paper on this.  It was also fun to find a sticker to use as the O in Joy.  No stamps were used on this card.  Here is the link to Kristina’s video and blog post.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 10!  Thanks for stopping by.

25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day 8

It’s day 8 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2017.  I used snowflakes instead of trees on my version of this card.  I love the soft colors!  Here is the link to Kristina’s video and blog post.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 9!  Thanks for stopping by.

I’ve created a winter themed card using Crafters Essentials Winter dies by Kat Scrappiness.  The trees, deer, and snow banks are all dies that are in the Crafters Essentials Winter die set by Kat Scrappiness.  I ink blended the background with distress inks and added some glitter to the trees to make them sparkle!

25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day 7

It’s day 7 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2013.  I really love the idea of this card.  Having the colored image on the inside.  For my card, I did not stamp on the clear acetate.  Mainly because my Stazon ink was dried up!  The stamps I used are from My Favorite Things.  Here is the link to Kristina’s video and blog post.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 8!  Thanks for stopping by.

25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day 6

It’s day 6 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2012.  I think I’ve said this everyday, but this one is a favorite.  It’s such a simple layout, but the white heat embossing makes the card so elegant.  Here is the link to her video and blog post.

I love this sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.  I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 7!

Thanks for stopping by.

25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day 5

It’s day 5 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2013.  This is another one of my favorite cards made by Kristina.  Here is the link to her video and blog post.

This is only the second time I’ve made a card with these dimensions – 9 inches by 3 inches.  Not sure why I don’t make more of these!  I also ink blended with distress inks.  I love the way ink blending looks.  I only used one stamp set – Winter Silhouettes from Hero Arts – on this card.  I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 6!

Thanks for stopping by.

25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day 4

It’s day 4 of my 25 Days of Christmas cards inspired by Kristina Werner.  For today’s card, I was inspired by the card Kristina made in 2014.  I love this card and wanted to recreate it with the supplies I had on hand.  Here is the link to her video and blog post.

For this card, I used an older stamp set from W Plus 9.  I love the way this turned out.  I plan on making several more cards using this layout/technique!  I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 5!
