Here is the last of the Christmas cards until next year. Think I’m going to get an early start for next year, maybe do a few each month!
I was able to play along with PTI’s Make It Monday this week (during the week it was actually posted)! It was Betsey Veldman’s turn this week and she used sentiments to create subtle, layered backgrounds. Her creation was gorgeous as you can see below:
I decided to create a couple of tags using this technique. I used the Believe set from Papertrey Ink, it’s one of my favorite Christmas sets.
Here is the rest of my 2011 Halloween cards.
For the first card, I used the Silhouette to cut out the ghost and boo sentiment. The border at the bottom of the card is from SEI. The background ghosts are from Papertrey Ink’s Tiny Treats: Halloween set.
I used the Silhouette again on this card to cut out the goo border and the witch. The “best witches” sentiment is from Papertrey Ink’s Tiny Treats: Halloween set.
I used the Cricut Mini Monster’s cartridge for the last card. The “creepy crawly” sentiment is from Papertrey Ink’s Tiny Treats: Halloween set.
Hello, I’m back with a couple of more Halloween cards.
For the first card, I cut out the mummy using the Cricut Mini Monster cartridge and added some googly eyes! The happy halloween was cut out on the Silhouette using some spider web paper.
The second card is a different style than what I usually do. I used paper and a sticker from the Apothecary Emporium collection from Echo Park. I cut the cat out with my Silhouette machine and stamped happy haunting from Papertrey Ink’s Tiny Treats: Halloween.
Thanks for stopping by!
Here is a 3×3 card set that I whipped up in an hour the other night! I’m thinking about doing a craft show in December and thought these would be perfect to sale. I used Papertrey Ink’s Daydreamer set with ink from Stampin’ Up (Marina Mist, Regal Rose, and Pear Pizzazz.)
