It’s that time for a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero. This month the challenge is Nature.

When I think of nature, green and brown tones seem to come to mind or yellows and reds for fall. I changed it up and went with some bright colors for my card.

I colored and die cut one of the butterflies from the New Day Butterflies stamp set using pink and purple Copic markers. I found this gorgeous piece of plaid pattern paper in my stash that matched perfectly! I adhered this to my white card base and stamped my sentiment, also from the New Day Butterflies stamp set.

I wrapped a piece of pink and white twine around the card where the pattern paper met the white card base. I embossed a stitched circle from turquoise paper with a tiny dots embossing folder and adhered the butterfly to the circle using dimensional adhesive. To finish off the card, I added a few pink and purple jewels.
