Hexagons

Hexagons seems to be the latest craze in the crafting world lately. I’m usually not one to jump on the latest thing, but I really like the look of hexagons. A couple of months ago I purchased the hexagon dies from Lifestyle Crafts. Here are a few cards I’ve created with the dies.

First up is a graduation card a friend asked me to make for her sister. The school colors are navy and light blue and her sister was on the soccer team.

In this card, I cut out hexagons from patterned paper in the Summer’s End pad by Fancy Pants.

I created a row of hexagons on this card using paper from On the Sunny Side collection from My Mind’s Eye.

Last up is a set of four mini hexagon cards with matching envelopes. The paper is from the Linen Closest collection by DCWV.

  1. Fabulous cards! I don’t really keep on trend either but their is something about the hexagons, especially in patterns, that just makes my heart happy. Thanks for sharing your beautiful creations!
