Tremendous Treats Valentine’s Day 7

Finally made it to day 7. I hope you’ve enjoyed these cards. I had a great time creating them. Today’s card is my favorite. I’m using the dinosaur from Tremendous Treats: Valentine. Again, I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. I did some shading and am very happy how it turned out.

For you my friend

Thanks for joining me all week. I’ll have a few more valentine cards next week.

Tremendous Treats Valentine’s Day 6

I’ve almost made it through the week! Today’s card features the fish from Tremendous Treats and Tiny Treats. I love how this card came together. The patterned paper is from Echo Park’s Splash 6×6 pad. I colored the fish with Prismacolored pencils and once again tried my hand at some shading.

You're a Great Catch

Thanks for stopping by, join me tomorrow for my last card. Not sure if today’s card or tomorrow’s card is my favorite.

Tremendous Treats Valentine’s Day 5

Welcome to day 5! Today’s card uses the owl image from Tremendous Treats and Tiny Treats. The red panel is felt and was cut out using the Mat Stack 1 die. I colored the owl with Prismacolor pencils. I tried to do some shading on this one with the pencils.

Happy Valentine's Day

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow and Saturday for my two favorite cards!

Tremendous Treats Valentine’s Day 4

Welcome to day four, if this is your first time to stop by this week, check out the previous three days. Today’s card is probably my least favorite of the seven cards I made with Papertrey Ink’s Tremendous Treats: Valentine stamp set. I used PTI’s mat stack 1 to cut out the white panel. The pink panel was cut out using the Cricut and stamped with PTI’s Text Style. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils.

Happy Valentine's Day

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out the next three days as I reveal my favorite cards using this set.

Tremendous Treats Valentine’s Day 2

Day 2 of Tremendous Treats Valentines features a card using the airplane image. I think I used all my tools on this card! The cuttlebug for the die cut and the dry embossing, the Cricut for the pink panel with hearts, and the Silhouette for the heart border!

Happy Valentine's Day

Thanks for stopping by and come back tomorrow for another card using this set!

Tremendous Treats Valentine’s Day 1

I’ve been playing with Papertrey Ink’s Tremendous Treats Valentines set. The images are so cute. I’ve made several cards, so stay tuned throughout the week as I bring you a new card each day.

The first card uses the boat which I colored with Prismacolor pencils, and the sentiment is from Tiny Treats: Valentines. I die cut the white and yellow layers with Papertrey’s Mat Stack 3 and Layerz. The background sailboat paper is from Echo Park’s Little Boy.

January 2012 Papertrey Ink Blog hop

It’s blog hop time for Papertrey Ink. Here is the challenge this month:

This month, in honor of the new year, we are challenging you to pick your favorite project from 2011 and share it with all of us! To take it a step further, you are also challenged to create a second card that is inspired by the favorite project you select. Your new version of an old favorite could carry over the color scheme, the layout or the stamp sets. We look forward to seeing your best creations from 2011 as well as one of your first projects for 2012!

After sifting through all my projects that I did in 2011, I selected the following. I’m not sure if it is my favorite, but I love using tags on cards. I did several of them over the year.

Happy Birthday

Here is the card I created last night. I saw the idea of using embossing acrylic on Pinterest and had to try it.
