Day 28 – Trio of Penguins

Today’s card uses some non-traditional colors for Christmas.  Love this little penguin!  I stamped him 3 times and put him in the coordinating frame.  I then die cut his hat.

Day 27 – Merry Christmas, Happy New Year

I really like the layout for this card and have made a couple using it.  I think the layout is from a challenge, but I can’t seem to find where I originally found it.  The patterned paper is from American Crafts’ Jolly collection.  I used the Stocking Trio dies from My Favorite Things  to cut out the stockings.  I had originally stamped the sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s Signature Christmas set in a bright green.  It didn’t show up very well, so I stamped it offset again in brown ink.

Day 26 – Ikat

I CASE’d this from a card designed by Bethany Stellpflug that was in Paper Crafts Holiday Cards & more magazine.  I love the Irresistibly Ikat set from Papertrey Ink which is what I used at the bottom of the card.  I’ve made several cards with this set and have so many more ideas on how I want to use it.  The sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink – Think Big Favorites #9.  I added a little red bling to finish it off.

Day 25 – Paper Pieced Tree

Day 25, almost made it to 31 days!  I think I made this card last year.  I did some paper piecing for the tree which is from Lawn Fawn’s Critters in the Forest set.  The pattern paper is from Echo Park’s Holly Jolly Christmas collection.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday’s Good Cheer set.  I thought it needed a little something more, so I added so faux stitching around the sentimentDay 25 - carenwithac.com

Day 24 – ‘Tis the Season

This card is a little busy, but I still like it!  The patterned paper is from Hobby Lobby’s The Paper Studio.  The stamps are from Papertrey Ink’s Tiny Treats: Christmas and Tremendous Treats: Christmas.  The Retro Square Border die is from My Favorite Things.Day 24 - carenwithac.com

Day 23 – Dear Santa

Another one of my favorites today.  The snowman and snowflakes are from Papertrey Ink’s Holiday Tree stamp set and the window die is from Memory Box.  I’m unsure of where I got the black and white paper.  It was a random sheet that I bought at a craft show!Day 25 - carenwithac.com

Day 22 – Snowflakes

This is one of my favorite cards I’ve made this year.  The white snowflakes, from My Favorite Things, and the white panel behind the snowflakes is glittered.  It’s hard to see that in the picture, but it is very pretty!  I embossed Season’s Greetings from Papertrey Ink’s Stylish Sentiments: Holiday on an Aqua Mist card base.Day 22 - carenwithac.com

Day 21 – Hexagons

Not sure if hexagons are still “in” now, but I will always like them!  I used Papertrey Ink’s Hexagon cover plate to space out the stamped hexagons from the Happy Hexagon stamp set.  The sentiment is from Stylish Sentiments:  Holiday.

Day 20 – Lots of sentiments

Today’s card features lots of sentiments from many stamp sets from Papertrey Ink, Paper Smooches, and The Stamps of Life.  I embossed the red Season’s Greetings and 25th.

Day 19 – Snowman

Here is another one of my favorite cards from last year.  No stamping on this card.  I used Papertrey Ink’s Shape Up Series: Snowman die and My Favorite Things Snow Drifts die.  It’s a little hard to see, but the purple and blue paper is sparkly.
