Hi, everyone. I’m so excited to share with you the new Spring 2023 Release from Poshta Design! There are so many cute dies and 3 new color stories being released this Saturday, March 4th at Noon ET.
All of my projects I’m sharing over the next few days feature the new color story Misty Morning – Can you hear the quiet twittering of birds as the first rays of light peek past the treetops? The dewy grasses of a prairie backlit by the warm glow of a spring sunrise inspired the Misty Morning Color Story. This Color Story includes *new* Coral Reef, *new* Sweet Nectar, Agave, Sprout, and Sunlight felt. I normally lean toward bright colors, but I absolutely loved creating with this gorgeous pallet.
For my first project, I die cut the Basic Egg die from the new Sweet Nectar felt. I then die cut the new Embroidered Egg Details II from the basic egg die cut. I used the various thread colors, sequins, and beads in the Misty Morning color story for the stitching.
My second egg also uses the Basic Egg die as the base combined with the Banded Egg Details die. There are so many options with the Banded Egg Details die set, but when I saw the flower I had to use it! I used Coral Reef, Agave, Sprout, and Sunlight felt from the Misty Morning color story and added Tundra felt for the scalloped oval.
I had so much fun stitching up these dies. Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see more great dies from the Spring 2023 release! Be sure to check out Lizzie’s post for a giveaway on each introductory blog posts for a $50 gift certificate to the website.
Embroidered Egg Details II Die
This die coordinates with the Basic Egg Die. The Embroidered Egg Details II Die stars playful loops and scallops. The die features a “holes only” design with a shaped backing plate that makes placement on a Basic Egg shape totally hassle-free.
Please note: This die coordinates with the Basic Egg Die. This die does not cut the egg shape, just the embroidered details.
Included with this die is a colorful diagram that gives you a helping hand seeing how the design is stitched.
Measurement reference: The base plate of the egg measures 4” tall by just under 2?” wide.
Banded Egg Details Die
These layered details and cheerful tulip are designed to coordinate with the Basic Egg Die. Mix and match the elements for a wide array of styles to suit any project. The window element can even be used as a wonderful way to showcase a monogram or other focal point. This die also includes a “holes only” placement die with a shaped backing plate that makes it a snap to see where you need to add the stitching holes to a Basic Egg shape for hassle-free assembly.
Please note: This die coordinates with the Basic Egg Die. This die does not cut the egg shape, just the layers and tulip details.
Measurement reference: The band layer measures about 2?” wide by 3?” tall. The scalloped egg layer measures 2?” wide by 3?” tall. The fully assembled tulip measures about 1?” wide by about 2?” tall.
How wonderful to see as a guest designer for this fabulous new release! Your eggs are gorgeous; love the colours and pretty details. Inspiration, plus.

I love the colors in this color story. The Banded Egg Details dies looks like a great addition to last year’s eggs.
So pretty, Caren! Beautiful work!
