Hi everyone, it’s time for the December challenge at A Blog Named Hero. This month’s challenge is Sparkle. I had no problem creating a card that has sparkles. I love to put sparkle on my cards!

I have several things that sparkle on this card – the background, the tree, and the pillow!

I started by heat embossing the background using the Graphic Snowflake Bold Prints background stamp and sparkling embossing powder. I colored the images with Copic markers which are from the November My Monthly Hero kit (which is still available when this was posted.) It is hard to see but I added sparkle to the tree with a Specturm Noir sparkle pen. I also added prisma glitter (which came with the October My Monthly kit) to the pillow.

The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Color Layering Christmas Tree stamp set. I heat embossed it on a red sentiment strip.
